Summary:

This 30 hr/wk position will provide case management and employment services to eligible participants to develop and execute Service Plans and/or Individual Employment Plans that enhance employability through direct and indirect service provision within Goodwill and partner agencies. Oversee Case Manager Support position(s).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Case Manager Support position(s) in assigned programs. Arrange and provide shift coverage and general supervision to meet participant service needs. 

  • Assist with the development and implementation of programs and services.

  • Recruit appropriate participants to meet program targets.

  • Assist with screening of referrals for appropriate program and service options.

  • Complete comprehensive intake to include identifying strengths and barriers, cultural and social considerations, and accommodations.

  • Facilitate a person-centered planning approach to determine vocational goals, recommend appropriate services to achieve goals, and oversee the program and goals agreed upon. Revise as necessary.

  • Complete career assessment and career planning.

  • Develop Service Plans and/or Individual Employment Plans to guide service provision.

  • Provide detailed program orientation.

  • Provide linkages to resources to assist with barrier removal.

  • Provide linkages to education and vocational training.

  • Provide supportive services needed by the participant to achieve and maintain employment.

  • Monitor and record participant progress to ensure goals and objectives are met.

  • Follow-up on participant progress, providing encouragement as needed.

  • Provide job development and supports to help participants become employed.

  • Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independent functioning while receiving services.

  • Provide classroom training in the areas of life skills, budgeting, employment readiness, soft skills, job retention, and money management.

  • Provide training using multiple methods, to reach all learning styles.

  • Track attendance, program completion rate, skills attainment, performance increase, and placement rate.

  • Provide job retention support for up to 90 days.

  • Model appropriate work behaviors and interpersonal skills.

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, and all team members.

  • Coordinate and monitor internal work sites.

  • Monitor worksite performance and provide assistance to help with improvement.

  • Meet program outcomes.

  • Ensure all paperwork and related activities are current, accurate, and in compliance.

  • Enter required data into database in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Submit data for continuous improvement outcome reporting system, as requested.

  • Attend meetings, conferences, training, and workshops, as approved or required by supervisor.

  • Provide services in accordance with Goodwill policies, CARF standards, and principles of safety.

  • Participate in meetings, staffings, and other activities as directed to promote and review the effectiveness of Service Plans and/or Individual Employment Plans and overall case management efforts.

  • Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries assuring safety of personnel or property.

  • Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide client services.

  • Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain agency confidentiality. Violation of confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.

  • Comply with all health, safety and fire standards and all local, state and federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA).

  • Other duties as assigned.
