Summary:
Assist Operations with merchandising of Purchased Goods and Brand Standards Management. Follow specific guidelines and work with minimal supervision.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, other specialized software programs and Counterpoint POS.  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must have valid driver's license, current insurance, clean driving record and successfully pass background check. CPR/First Responder Training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain store shelves by observing displays of New Goods products, removing damaged or freshness-dated products, and tidying store shelves providing optimum display of New Goods.
  • Enhance merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add retail revenues to the organization.
  • Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
  • Help retail management with special promotions by setting-up displays, observing customer reaction to special promotions, forwarding observations to management, and removing promotions at end of special promotion period.
  • Promote bestselling items in order to maximize profits.
  • Create store visit schedule by reviewing priorities with supervisor, discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.
  • Design and implement New Goods planograms based off of location needs, fixturing, layout, etc.
  • Price and pack New Goods product for locations.
  • Support and conduct New Goods inventory on a monthly basis.
  • Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
  • Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with company and brand positioning.
  • Execute Brand Management plans in conjunction with Corporate Communications and Retail Operations.
  • Enhance company's brand or reputation in the public eye by executing organizational brand management.
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout each retail location.
  • Enrich customer service experience through Brand Management.
  • May travel daily to multiple locations.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries assuring safety of personnel or property.
  • Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide services.
  • Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain agency confidentiality. Violation of confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.
  • Comply with all health, safety and fire standards and all local, state and federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA).
  • Other duties as assigned.
